Not only does God bring friends into our lives, from time to time, He so divinely maneuvers some of his chosen ones into position, or, we to them, that we might look back over time and shudder at how close we might have come to missing that encounter. Well, nothing could be further from the truth… but, the smiling face looking out from this page is the man among men in my life. He led me and my family to the feet of Jesus Himself. Further, he gently led us. As a highschooler, I wouldn’t have come any other way… hormones pumping – having my eye on a pretty girl to ride in a car with on a choir outing… I got stuck with Don… Jesus, actually. Still stuck, in fact!
Well, let’s talk about Don for a bit, then we’ll move on to a few others. First names will have to do – if they want you to know who they are, they’ll find you. They’re good at that – so’s Jesus.
